Kathleen Redmond is the Founder of the Centre for Character Leadership.
Our goal is to work towards transforming your workplace to be a respected, engaged, high trust culture of character through coaching, training and assessments.
She is one of only twenty Master Certified Coaches in Ontario with the International Coaching Federation. She is also an author and Sessional Professor of the University of Guelph’s MA (Leadership) Program..
With a passion for leadership communication and over 30 years of management experience, Kathleen works in the heart of industry. From Istanbul to Honolulu, to factories in the southern United States, and to the oil fields of Alberta, Kathleen has worked with leaders to strengthen engagement and results through authentic communication.

In 2016 she was honoured with the Donald Cousens Award by the Character Community of York Region.
This award is presented to an individual or organization that has shown sustained support to and advocated for good Character development in our community of York Region.

Kathleen holds an MA in Adult Education, has served as a master trainer for Development Dimensions International, and is certified to administer Myers-Briggs Type IndicatorTM, True Colors®, Bar-On EQ-i®, Personality Dimensions and 360 degree leadership assessments.
She has received her MCC certification with the International Coaching Federation.
She has completed mediation training through Osgoode Hall Law School.
Kathleen is an active member of the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists, International Coaching Federation, previously on the Advisory Council of N6 Training and Conference Planning Committee (BKI), and past President of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, Toronto Chapter.
Community Giveback
Kathleen believes in giving back to her community and does so by mentoring others.
She currently is doing so through the Coaches Forum where Kathleen coaches, pro bono, Executive Directors of Not-for-Profit organizations.
